My favorite photo of this year was:

This was my favorite photo because it has trees and plants in it. The black cage and its shadow was well placed in this picture in my opinion.

My best photo from first semester was:

I chose this photo as my best from first semester because I really like the viewpoint composition rule and thats the composition rule I used for this picture as you can see by the angle it as shot from.
I also used elements of art in this picture. The elements of art I used was forms, shapes, and texture. I have three dimensional shapes and regular two dimensional shapes as well as rough and soft like texture.

Three advantages of working in groups are:

  • When you need help and you don't want to ask the teacher something you can just ask your group members.
  • You get to meet new people even if you're the most social person.
  • If you are starving you have someone to ask for food to help you concentrate in class instead of concentrating on your empty stomach.
Three disadvantages of working in groups are:

  • You might not always be heard on what you have to say when you have a lot of group members in your group.
  • There will be drama between your group members.
  • Not everyone works at the same speed some group members maybe slower or faster than the rest.

Influential People

Photographers will be influenced by other photographers for example Henri Cartier-Bresson, Richard Avedon, and Martin Munkacsi were three very influential people. Cartier-Bresson was a man that was considered the father of photojournalism. He covered many of the world biggest events from the Spanish Civil War to the French uprisings in 1968. Richard Avedon was an American fashion and portrait photographer. He started of working as a photographer for the Merchant Marines, taking identification photos. Munkacsi was a newspaper writer and photographer in Hungary, specializing in sports.

Cartier-Bresson was educated in Paris he developed an early love for literature and the arts. Art was always a part of him like if it was part of his DNA. His grandfather and uncle both did a career containing art. It was just in his blood. Africa pushed him to the direction of photography. When he returned to France he bought a 35mm, a camera that helped define his photography. By the mid 1930s his work was shown in exhibits in Mexico, New York, and Madrid. Fatima Garibay

I chose this picture as one of my best because I liked how it was shot from a side angle so I was using the Viewpoint rule of composition. I liked the lighting in it and how clear it looks. Also i liked how the tables were positioned in the picture.

I chose this picture as one of my favorites because I liked the pirate statue in it. I liked the bright lighting in this picture. I was using the composition rule symmetry and pattern. I really liked the pattern on the windows.

I chose this picture as one of my favorites because I really like how its dark in front of the picture, but than when you keep looking further out it gets really bright. I like the angle it was shot from. Also I was thinking of the symmetry and patterns composition rule so I captured the window pattern in the back.
